Bread Pizza
400g strong plain flour
25g fresh yeast.
1/2 tsp salt.
1 tsp sugar.
300ml warm water (approximately).
Grease a baking tray. Oven temp; gas 7. 425f. 220c.
Cream the yeast and sugar in a jug. Add the water. Put the flour and salt in a bowl. Add the liquid to the bowl and blend together until you have a soft dough. Leave to rise in the bowl for about 30 minutes. Knead the dough on a floured surface and place in a bread tin (if making a loaf). Leave to rise in a warm place. Glaze with milk and cook for about 25 minutes. The bread will sound hollow when tapped on the bottom. Cool on a wire rack.
If making a pizza you need to make the dough as above and pat it out into a circular shape on the tray. Place tomatoes (a mixture of Dolmio and tinned tomatoes is nice) on the dough. Top it with chopped onions, mushrooms, ham, grated cheese etc. Place on the oven for about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
